Summary
A DevTest lab is a cost/security container that can be set up to control who can create VMs, how much they spend, etc.
The premise is:
- Quickly provision development and test environments (not prod)
- Get going quickly using virtual machines from pre-created images, or create VMs in a few clicks with reusable templates
- Minimize waste with quotas, policies and automated shutdowns
